We have this empty guest room in my apartment. I sure would love to see it filled by 1-2 people on any of the upcoming weekends... Anyone know if I have friends in LJ land that would be willing to come visit? (Not counting local friends, unless Nick and Nettie want to have a sleep over!)

Update Time!

So I asked my girlfriend to marry me New Years Eve. As the clock was 20 seconds from striking, I told her "I can't live another year without you", she kissed me, she cried, I asked "Well?" and she said yes, JUST as it struck 12. I'm punctual, what can I say.

This is the girl for me. She's fantastic.

The wedding will be in PA (most likely) September 27th? (the last Saturday of September) We'll be having a party there, and a party here in C-bus, and anyone who wants to come, can. The Ohio party is tentatively a luau, Hawaiian themed etc. so that sounds fun. But this is all very early planning. Things could change, you never know.

What a great weekend.

Friday I went to the Girl's place. I went to help her clean, but I realized soon I was in over my head as her place was pretty damn good looking according to my standards. I minorly assisted. Then we just chilled until it got dark. and then finally I had to go. But it was good.

Then Saturday she came to my place, and it was sooo good. We ate fruit, and watched stuff, and we made out. I made her dinner, which she seemed to like incredibly well. I know I loved it. (Thanks Nettie). Other than that, we kissed like it was going out of style. Frankly, I can't imagine getting tired of making out with her.

Sunday I ended up going to visit the 'rents. I "fixed" dad's computer, and we tried to blow something up, and I did some laundry. in the middle of all that, I seem to have messed up my back, so now I'm in pain. I'm going to try and buy a heating pad, and I'm gonna get my recovery on. I've wanted one for a while anyway, because it's useful for keeping food warm in the kitchen, so this will be a functional purchase.


ETA: She came over to give me drugs and a heating pad for my back. I think she may be the most wonderful person. Ever.

He's not only in the game, He just battled a single!

WOOHOO. First non mormon kissed in 6 years. Not only that, I got compliments. I've been out of the game for a while now, but it's good to know all that practicing on my hand paid off.

She invited herself over to watch Lost, We watched it. we watched a little daily show... and then some colbert. ad I just, kissed her. It helped I was a little tired, so my nerves couldn't talk me out of it.

I totally just made out in my apartment. With a noncrazy local girl. The world might be coming to an end.

We went to the Zoo with my bestest best friends evar, Nick and Nettie. Within the first 5 minutes, Nick embarassed me twice. ( And that's when things got interesing )

Yeah, an honest to god, real lj post.

So, I had a first date last night. And it was good. I'm hazarding to feel hopeful about the entire afternoon. I've gotten a positive txt message last night from her, but I don't know yet if she's at all into me as I was into her. I'm just amazed I found a girl I even want to have a second date with. You know, for being the fairer sex, I was beginning to be unimpressed with all of them. With their weird antics, and their strange habits.

But this one was nice. Very pretty. Told me a story about a woman with pubic lice in her eyelashes, so she isn't... shy? demure? She's ballsy. But not like, masculine ballsy. She doesn't have a potty mouth, but she dropped a few F bombs, so that's awesome. I dunno. She just had an amazing personality. I kept thinking how well she'll mesh with my friends, and I told her once, but I didn't want to say it too often, cause that might seem creepy.

I'm scared I'm tiptoeing too much because I don't want to sound creepy or weird and stuff, because I REALLY want this one to work out. I just felt that click, where I could just talk with her, and we played off each other so well.

Of course, my mother is in my head, telling me if I get too excited about it, something will ruin it. It'll all go to hell in a handbasket. And my father is in there too, asking me what in god's name would someone as beautiful and nice as her see in a lunkhead like me. But there's this tiny voice way way in the back corner of the room. Inner Brian is saying, "It's my time. I'm ready to play coach. Put me in, and I'll knock this one out of the park" I guess inner Brian is a baseball player... I dunno. So I'm All in. She's an 11, because I definitely want to hit it. (I love BJ jokes. Blackjack, you pervs.) Yeah, baseball and cards. I'm full of metaphor today. I'm practically a metaeight.

This guy at work just hit me in the eye with a nut.

He has this foam stressball peanut, and he tossed it at me, and it took a bad bounce and hit my eye. It kinda hurts, but is way too funny to complain about =)

A random guy at work today came up to me and asked if I play football. I'm so used to this, I told him my standard, nope =) and then he retorted with he is putting together a football team and wants me to play. This guy is a random guy at nationwide, so it's obviously just for funzies... but man. football... sounds like a ton of fun.

I need to know who is Nanowrimoing. So that I can add you to my friend list thing on there.

Good Weekend.

Went to a cuddle party Friday. Went to the place and was really nervous. It's always weird going places alone for me. I'm just shy enough to not enjoy being around all new people, but just extroverted enough to make a total ass of myself if I try. Well I did good.

And as is always the case, I worried no one would want to cuddle with me, but quelle suprise, that wasnt the case either. I got practically tackled by this tiny little thing who was cute as a button. She wanted to just lay on my back, so I did, and then everyone started calling me "Couch" It was cute. good times. And I got a pretty sweet backrub out of it all.

Otherwise, I was holed up in my apartment, which suited me just fine.

I am so not ready for a new week to begin...

A glass bowl worth 1800 dollars for 75. it has a crack that looks ~2 inches in one spot. and thats all.

25 assorted skateboarding dvds worth 650 dollars, for 125. stolen and recovered.

120 dollar air hockey table for 40 bucks. minor water damage on bottom of the legs.

a 3,000 dollar wood armoire for 75 dollars. no mention of damage. in "average" condition

a $4500 leather couch and chair set, for 175 dollars. only thing wrong is it's been used for 5 years.

I had an orthodontist appointment today. I love the girl that works on me. I'd let her pull my teeth without painkillers. She's gorgeous and fun.

I spent yesterday with Nick and Nettie. That was fun too. =) I loves them. I always feel better after some good quality nongrumpalump time with N squared.

I'm worried about N squared. they're gonna be 2N for a little while. I wish I was going to Qatar to look after Nick. but then again, I'm glad I can stay here to look after Nettie.

that has some ideas. I just saw the pork tenderloin with apples, which is cooked in a crockpot for 7-9 hours... that might be really good... Sara's got a big enough crock pot. But I'm just tossing out ideas, and I'd hate to make sara do a bunch of work at like 9am to make something.

I'm bringing Baked Potatoes, Sour Cream, Butter. I assume Sara has chives. Carrie might bring bacon bits, or else I can bring em.
